What Is CGPA?

Calculation: weighted points = (8.4x20) + (8.8x22) + (9.0x21) + (8.6x20) = 168 + 193.6 + 189 + 172 = 722.6. Total credits = 83. CGPA = 722.6 / 83 = 8.71.
Using the x 9.5 rule, that is roughly 82.71%. Notice each semester pulls on the average in proportion to its credits.
