What Is SGPA?

Calculation: weighted points = (4x9) + (4x8) + (3x10) + (3x7) + (2x8) = 36 + 32 + 30 + 21 + 16 = 135. Total credits = 16. SGPA = 135 / 16 = 8.44.
Notice the 10 in a three-credit subject lifts the average less than a 10 in a four-credit subject would, because credits do the weighting.
